Anchor Boatworks was the founding builder of Palmer Customs - traditional cold-molded sportfishing or cruising boats. Hull 1 was built with old-school craftsmanship enhanced by modern day processes and procedures. Construction is a balance of a cold-molded wood hull built with composite materials for a light, but very strong boat. Our boats are built to take the punishment of rougher seas without sacrificing the quality construction or performance excellence.

Starting in December 2022, Palmer Customs will continue the tradition with designs range from 25 feet to 45 feet accommodating either outboard or inboard diesel motor configurations. Our graceful lines are made with the strength of okoume wood, fiberglass and Kevlar fabrics, and the industry’s best epoxy resins.

The Palmer Customs building team is made up of several talents that have allowed us to produce custom cold-molded sportfishing boats. Our team obtains a variety of skills, including: experienced fiberglass technicians, certified Awlgrip painters, certified electrical technicians, and guys with a passion for being on the water.
